About this course

Practise from a place of attention

After chest surgery, many people are afraid to move. Avoidance can reduce range of motion and deepen disconnection. This course reconnects with the surgical area through gentle movement, listening and attention to emotion, within your capacity and without pushing, loading or working through pain.

The practice may suit people after lumpectomy, partial or full mastectomy, reconstruction or radiation, during or after treatment, especially when movement feels frightening or uncertain. No fitness or yoga experience is required. After surgery, obtain clearance from your care team before beginning.

We explore gentle shoulder and chest movement, support connective tissue through movement and touch, and gradually rebuild confidence and connection. Sessions combine breath, meditation and gentle physical practice.
