I’m Shiraz Amar, an independent dancer and choreographer based in Europe, working across contemporary Dance & Theater.

My practice explores ways of bringing contemporary dance closer to the general public by blending experimental and traditional approaches. Drawing on pop culture and stage conventions, I create work where abstraction and absurdity can emerge—and where expectations of dance can be questioned.
